STREEKER FLY The STREEKER FLY was developed by Lake Trolling Flies tier Joan Lake. This fly is tied on a number 2 straight eye hook with an attached triple hook. An effort was made with the Streeker Fly to disguise the trailing triple hook. The chenille body of the fly is extended down over the shank of the triple hook, making the three prongs of the triple hook look like the tail of the fly, and lengthens the body to look like the streamlined body of a small minnow. In the winter when fish are fairly shallow, use LIGHT TACKLE, in the summer when fish are deeper, fish them with a DOWN RIGGER. These Trolling Flies work well with larger LAKE SPINNERS. WARNING, treble hook flies are not legal in all lakes, check all restrictions. $2.50 each |
