WOOLY MUDDLER The Wooly Muddler pattern is an adapted pattern combining the wooly worm body and a fully clipped deer- hair muddler head. The muddler head gives this fly a totally buggy appearance but mimics no specific species. The fly does work, trout seem to find this fly an edible addition to their diet.
